REVEREND & THE MAKERS ANNOUNCE MAJOR UK TOUR IN NOVEMBER 2024

Reverend & The Makers have announced details of a major UK tour in November 2024. The Sheffield five-piece, fronted by Jon McClure, will embark on a nationwide run of 15 shows, opening in Lincoln on November 8th and concluding at Manchester Academy on November 28th, with a London show at the Electric Ballroom on the 20th.
 
Speaking about the tour announcement, lead singer Jon McClure says “I’m made up to be going on tour again – it’s been too long since we last played any shows.  Having toured Heatwave In The Cold North a couple of months before its release I’m looking forward to playing more songs from that album and maybe testing out a few from the next one.”
 
The tour is Reverend & The Makers’ first full band tour since February 2023. It follows their seventh studio album ‘Heatwave In The Cold North’, which debuted at No. 6 in the Official Charts in May last year, giving the band their first Top 10 album since their debut album The State of Things, which reached No.5 in 2007, and their biggest single in over a decade. With an unbroken run of seven Top 20 albums to date, the band are currently in the studio working on new music, details of which will be unveiled soon.

Enter Shikari announce intimate UK tour dates

Following their hugely successful UK arena tour in February, and a summer spent on the main stages of Europe’s festival circuit, Enter Shikari will head out on a short UK tour in November and December, playing shows in more intimate venues and including some towns often overlooked by more traditional major tours. Reminiscent of the band’s 2013 ‘Return To Energiser’ tour, which took in the likes of Weston-Super-Mare and New Brighton, the ‘Dancing On The Frontline’ tour will find itself stopping at the likes of Boston, Lincolnshire’s historic Gliderdrome venue and Torquay’s Foundry, amongst others, and also return visits to Shikari favourites such as Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom.

Metallica Lights Up FortniteFirst Ever Band to Take Centre Stage Across All of Fortnite Beginning June 13 

aving played every continent in the physical world, Metallica sets its sights on new frontiers with events across Fortnite this month.

Metallica becomes the first band to take centre stage across all Fortnite experiences, with Metallica-themed gameplay coming to Fortnite Festival, Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing and more starting tomorrow, June 13. Plus, as part of an all new music experience inside of Fortnite, Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury. will bring a series of in-game concert performances to players only on June 22 and June 23.

Completely customised and built from the ground up using Unreal Editor for Fortnite by technology studio MagnopusMetallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury. is a brand-new playable concert that will journey through six of Metallica’s fan-favourite songs with themed gameplay that complements the intensity of a Metallica live show. This immersive music experience will have six different showtimes across two days:

Sunday, June 23, 2024

The above times will be the only chance to experience the concert live.

James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo of Metallica are the icons of Fortnite Festival Season 4, where fans can shred along with Metallica on classics including “Enter Sandman,” “Ride the Lightning,” and “Master of Puppets.”

Metallica’s not just visiting Fortnite to perform—they’re here to battle. This new season of Fortnite Festival introduces the Battle Stage, a new competitive way to play the rhythm music game, and will be available even after the Metallica collaboration concludes.

Fortnite Festival’s Battle Stage will see 16 players in a match, all will play from the same four-song setlist, and one will emerge victorious.
